Up-date navigation
« on: January 19, 2024, 03:31:42 PM »
Hello dear people,
I up-dated my car's navigation this afternoon. Within an hour the navigation was updated from the USB stick.
What I discovered is that during that update my mobile phone was not connected to my standard modem at home but to the address "Car-cbbf". Are any of you saying this? I googled this and found nothing.

If you had the car power on when updating, which is advisable, then your car probably linked via Bluetooth if it was within closer range

In my case it's the default 'Honda HFT'
Let's be careful out there !

It indeed automatically makes the Bluetooth connection between the car and my phone as soon as the car starts. But strange that the phone is also connected to another strange modem, in this case Car-cbbf. I was also unable to change this SSID in my home modem and therefore no longer able to connect my phone to the devices in my home.
