when going round corners there is a loud grinding/scraping/rubbing noise coming from the front passenger side i think, its driving me nuts, have had a honda specialist look at it many times, we have removed the inner plastic mud wings, makes no diffrence, replaced a wheel bearing made no diffrence, checked driveshaft there is no play on either side, just pulling our hair out, i use it as driving school car its my 7th jazz to use in this way and the worst yet, this is one of many problems i need help with, thanks

It's there a plastic guard just in front of the wheel and below the bumper, where it gets hit when you drive onto a low driveways?

May be worth going to another mechanic to get a second opinion (?)

I had a similar baffling thing years ago, same symptoms, on a 2004 Jazz, after my usual mechanic couldn't find the fault (I couldn't either), he got his retired father to come in and have a look, in the end they changed the top mounts on the suspension struts as a best guess, it worked, I got lucky I think.
You could feel a grinding through the steering but the noise sounded like it was coming from the area of the wheels. I think it was about £100 to get it fixed, all in.
It's very difficult to diagnose a car fault from a description alone, but it's likely to be in the steering or suspension. Good luck.

Remote diagnostics tricky, i had a driver call me just the other day, my2nd choice stone jammed inbtween pad & disc was correct.
In your case i'm sure your mechanics have checked obvious failure points,
can you provide further info:
when did this noise first occur
what were the exact driving circumstances
had anything been changed prior to the noise

That would normally be my first choice but not with the dismantling work done replacing wheel bearings and such.
