clonk/click noise

I've got a 2005 SE Sport jazz manual with 74k miles on it. When I accelerate in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and then let go off the throttle, a second later... it makes a clonk and click noise. i hear it more at low speeds because of less road noise.

Would this be the input shaft bearing? possibly.. :S

I get a clicking from the gear box when in 2nd gear turning and turning left

Had it for 5 years now and 80k miles and it's not got any worse
