How to get my iphone/ipod working with a 2005 radio
« on: August 31, 2015, 02:38:18 AM »
Hi Guys,

Just got the car, last thursday, love it, I have one of these radios, is there any way of adding USB connectivity without changing everything out, (I actually like the sound quality even though its a standard radio)

Thanks in advance.

You can buy third party kits that allow a small box to connect to the CD changer control (all Jazz radios have it) to allowing the radio to talk to a USB stick or iPod. The radio will have to be removed to get at the CD changer connector and that apparently is not an easy job. There's a few topic on here about it or use Google to find out how much these kits cost.

I understand the radio unit will 'see' the USB device as a series of CDs in a CD changer?
