Honda Jazz ge8 vs Jazz ge8 SI
« on: February 08, 2022, 04:59:44 PM »
Hi Jazzers!

I own Jazz SI 2013 and I'm little confused here.

The differenece between Jazz and Jazz SI got "new dampers, thicker anti-roll bars and a revised electric power-steering set-up" according to some car journal's.

So my question is what parts are different and where to find and buy these "different" parts!? I'm pretty sure when searching for parts they will show as "normal" Jazz parts.

Regards

I think you will find the SI is only a trim level.

Manufacturers will sometimes use upgraded suspension parts etc on a trim level thats intended to be a 'sportier' option for customers willing to sacrifice some ride comfort  for better handling.

If this is the case with the SI the parts will be different.    But that doesnt guarantee that both types would be available as aftermarket replacements.

Could also mean that the introduction of the SI version coincided with all versions receiving the same upgrades.
Not unknown for makers to emphasise improvements on one trim level to justify the extra cost, while downplaying the fact  the other trims get them too.

That was my thinking too.
