With the original DAF Variomatic CVT system you could drive in reverse at the same speed as you could going forward. Can you still do that with the new CVT systems and if not, why not?

NO. The Honda CVT system has a fixed ratio for Reverse so you would run out of revs..

Anyone had this problem?
My Jazz CVT will not always reverse up hill. Car is just stuck and revs away
