squeacking sound
« on: May 26, 2009, 05:11:23 PM »
It started a few days ago while I was driving near a wall.I heard a something like a repetitive squeacking, which grew in frequence as I drove faster. Also my front right brake squeacks about half way when hitting the brakes, but this is independent of the first squeack :)
What could it be?

Sounds like something in the brakes department. Possibly worn out! :o

Yes,the brakes could be worn out.But for the other squeack...today I took the Jazz out
of the city for a few miles driving at higher speed and when I returned the squeack was gone :D The Jazz cured itself ;D

The pads could be worn. They make the squeak sound as an indication the pads are getting worn towards the minimum.
