I'm trying to get some advice on the stereo in my 2003 Honda Jazz (GD2). Recently while playing a CD, the factory stereo stopped producing sound from both radio and CD. While it does produce button-press confirmation beeps (through the speakers) and other functions seem okay; the display light comes on, it seeks radio stations and cues CD tracks but even at max-volume, it produces no music.
Have I perhaps inadvertently pressed a combination of buttons to trigger a hidden mute feature? Or is there a blown amp fuse behind the unit I could check. Is this a known issue? I've looked over this forum but not come across this particular issue. Any leads, advice or debugging tips would be much appreciated.
