Honda HR-V standard specification and model history

The HR-V is available in the follow models. Revisions will be added when issued.

On sale since September 2015 as a rival to the Mazda CX-3, Nissan Juke, Renault Captur and Vauxhall Mokka. Based on the Honda Jazz platform and sold as the Honda Vezel in some other countries. All UK market HR-Vs are made in Mexico.


1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol, 6 speed manual or CVT (automatic), 130bhp.
1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel, 6 speed manual, 120bhp.

Unlike the Mazda CX-3 and Nissan Juke, the HR-V is not available with four wheel drive in the UK - all HR-Vs are two wheel drive only.

Common Faults

24/12/2015 - No spare wheel or space saver currently available as European models lack the required bolt hole to secure the wheel:
