My Jazz is fine at tickover (approx 800 rpm) but if I try to hold it at 1100rpm (or any revs between idle and 1500 rpm) the revs rise to 1500 then fall back to tickover then rise to 1500 and back etc.
Above 1500 rpm it is fine. It also cruises and accelerates fine.
I tried cleaning the EGR and no difference.
This fault obviously makes slow speed work awkward.
The car is a 2003 1.4 manual.
Any ideas?
