Why is it going to cost you anything? Surely the car is still under guarantee?
I had a 2010 Ex I-shift for a few months but could not get on with it, as it simply would not change gear when I wanted it to.
I part exchanged it in 2011 for a new EX CVT and am over the moon with it.
In my opinion the I-shift is only half an automatic and a very poor relation to the CVT.
So, my advice would be, insist that the dealer puts the car right at no cost to you, contact Honda head office for assistance, if you have to.
Then in the long term think about a P/ex to a CVT, you won't regret it.
