http://www.vikingaircraftengines.com/Tech.htmlHere is a resounding vote of confidence in Honda engines - the 1.5 litre VTEC honda FIT engine is being used as the basis of an aircraft engine by Viking aircraft in Florida USA. As far as I am aware it is the only car engine used in an aircraft (100% reliability required). I assumed twin spark plugs would be specified to meet aircraft use requirements - but I can only see 4 coil packs on the photographs (the coil packs look remarkably like original Honda ones).
