sleeping in the car

 Dont know if this has ever been covered before but here goes  have any of you ever slept in your jazz overnight  not on the front seats but with the front seats pushed forward and the rear pushed down flat ie in the back. reason i am asking we will be doing a bit of wild camping around argyle in june and some night we might struggle for suitable camping areas cheers in advance frank ( serious question lads and i do mean sleeping  )

Never done it but thought I could even at 6` 2" by lying diagonally. I also though about reclining the front seat fully and making a camp bed that lay over the top. Then I could have a full length bed.

I used to sleep in the back of my parents Volvo Estate though and would recomend you sleep with a window open and a good sleeping bag.

I can sprawl across the back of my car, ive lay there for about half an hour comfortably but never slept. im only 5'7" so im short enough to fit there comfortably.

You could try 'refresh' mode......but i don't know how comfortable it would actually be.

best way would be put the front seats right forward and get them slanted forward so they work as pillows with the back flat would be more comfortable than the refresh mode by the looks of things..

Cheers all probably go for the easy option of buying a tent ect . No way could i sleep in the west coast of scotland in the summer with the windows open two many midges about they would drive you insane

Or eat you alive haha know what you mean, but if you leave the windows open just a crack (hint: dont try to do it with the drivers window it WILL drive you insane trying it) then there shouldnt be enough room for the evil little midges to get in...but enough to get fresh air in. better option really is to get a tent though
