Anyone used K&N air filters on a Jazz?

My Jazz is too new to change the filter, but I fitted K&N filters to wife's VW Passat and a BMW318ti.  There didn't seem any change in performance but then I drive mostly in traffic anyway, but the fuel consumption dropped.

The VW used to get 10.1 l/100km and the BMW 8.4.  Both cars use at least 8% less fuel, which equates to an extra 50km or so before the warning light comes on.  Both cars have 1.9 litre engines

And they are supposed to last a long time

Thanks.  I did a search for "K&N" but that thread didn't turn up

Best try the K/N element filter, it ll work better than the cone filter,
