help! gear completely off when stop

i recently bought jazz 2002 1.3 i-DSi cvt transmission.

i'm happy with the car except this issue.

every time i stop the car to 0km/h.

gear seems to be off from engine gear until i release

break pad fully. and after 1 to 2 seconds later, car start
 
to move same way as other automatic transmission.

so, when i stop either flat or downhill road, i can wait

couple of seconds for gear to work. but when i stop

at uphill. it feel unsafe because car reverse itself by gravity

during initial few seconds until gear work.



so, here's my problem

1. when car stop completely, it will take 2 seconds to move
    after i release break pad completely.

2. gear never come back to work if i don't release break pad fully.



please help!

I think this is normal behavior. When I come to a stop in my CVT it appears to go into neutral if I keep my foot on the brake pedal and will reengage gear when I take my foot off the brake, there is a slight delay before the gear engages and this can cause a momentary rollback if you are on a hill. However if it is kept in Sport mode it does not disengage the gear and is ready to pull away immediately, also you do not get the rollback.

mine doesn't have sport mode. i think it's due to 1.3 litre engine.

does anyone experiencing similar problem like me?
