Spoiler alert  ( ;D)  - I might offend some .  .

Maybe Sigmund Freud could have explained the desire for such appendages.

Spoilers can sometimes look OK .  Unlike  swollen lips and pouts like a cod fish  by using Botox. :-* .

Maybe a discrete spoiler  may  improve airflow  and stop the rear window getting so dirty.

To continue off topic on this vein.    I recently noticed that many recent cars  now have  small fins styled into the bottom  rear edge of the rear wheel arch that disperses airflow  outwards . Not mudflaps as such. Presumably so airflow along the  sides of the car is less likely to  form a vortex of dirty rainwater at  the rear.    Some cars have them  pre styled into the rear bumper  assembly while others have them  as part of  a plastic  wheel arch trim.  The Jazz would  benefit from them I think.

Or faded Comic Relief "noses" on the radiator grills 5 years after that particular skit ended... or for those old enough, synthetic fur tiger tails hanging out of the petrol cap.
