If someone has a moment, could they please explain how to use online satnavs with the screen of my 2022 Crosstar?

Do you connect the mobile phone by Bluetooth, or do you need to use a cable?

My understanding if such matters is very basic.

Thanks.

You need android auto on the phone, modern versions have it built in to the phone (or whatever apple needs if its an iphone) and android works best with a cable. Plug the phone in and prompts should appear to follow, otherwise go to phone settings, search for android auto, and connected devices.

for these kind of questions the AI tools can be very useful. Personally I use the Chrome browser on my desktop and when you open Chrome it has an AI tool you can use. But you can also open for instance chatgpt.com or claude.ai or gemini.google.com etc. any of the LLM AI tools and ask questions like:

"if someone has never connected their phone to the Honda Jazz 2022 infotainment system. How best to explain to them what to do? Please explain in English and explain it for an Android Phone."

By the way. I connected the Android phone wirelessly and it is working perfectly (I have a 2026 Jazz Crosstar). When you have an Android phone I would first set everything up using the USB cable. When all is working you could follow this thread https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=16213.0  to set it up wirelessly.

When using the cable use the USB port intended for smartphone connectivity. That USB-A port shows the USB Trident Logo.

or - you could simply download and read the manual for your Jazz:

Here I use "Android Auto" via my phone (Pixel 9). I've been also using it wirelessly (with some hidden option that allows you to enable it wirelessly), otherwise you can just connect via USB.

If you have an iPhone you can use "CarPlay"

And you can also use the car's gps and built in map (never tried this).

Maybe the AI "agents" will remember which humans  didnt  show them sufficient respect.  ??? ? ;D ?

Some of  the humans who programme them and set their 'moral'  standards ,procedures and limitations , have flawed  personalities and a warped concept of what is acceptable. As do many of those who support them for financial or political reasons.
My IQ test came back negative

I asked AI (politely) and it agrees with you, no need to say please.

But records are saved for a long time. I seen this interesting documentary about a guy who took his own life but wanted it to appear as if he was murdered (so his family would get paid, for the insurance money). He got his inspiration from an episode of the Real CSI: Miami, episode 5 ("Out of Thin Air"). He killed himself in 2018. To understand this guy they (the police) looked into his Google history for 10 years. 10 years of history, 10 years of question he asked to Google they could look into. It is all recorded looks like.
