If someone has a moment, could they please explain how to use online satnavs with the screen of my 2022 Crosstar?

Do you connect the mobile phone by Bluetooth, or do you need to use a cable?

My understanding if such matters is very basic.

Thanks.

You need android auto on the phone, modern versions have it built in to the phone (or whatever apple needs if its an iphone) and android works best with a cable. Plug the phone in and prompts should appear to follow, otherwise go to phone settings, search for android auto, and connected devices.

for these kind of questions the AI tools can be very useful. Personally I use the Chrome browser on my desktop and when you open Chrome it has an AI tool you can use. But you can also open for instance chatgpt.com or claude.ai or gemini.google.com etc. any of the LLM AI tools and ask questions like:

"if someone has never connected their phone to the Honda Jazz 2022 infotainment system. How best to explain to them what to do? Please explain in English and explain it for an Android Phone."

By the way. I connected the Android phone wirelessly and it is working perfectly (I have a 2026 Jazz Crosstar). When you have an Android phone I would first set everything up using the USB cable. When all is working you could follow this thread https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=16213.0  to set it up wirelessly.

When using the cable use the USB port intended for smartphone connectivity. That USB-A port shows the USB Trident Logo.

or - you could simply download and read the manual for your Jazz:
