Direction indicator click
« on: September 04, 2026, 09:51:37 AM »
In contrast to the many comments made about intrusive alarm sounds, I find the clicking made by the direction indicators to be significantly quieter than in the Mk2 or Mk3. I can’t hear them at speed and occasionally forget to cancel them, annoying other drivers. The lights in the driver interface are not very bright either. Not much to be done unfortunately!

The E has 3 different sounds you can choose for the indicators including a traditional click. I prefer the soft elecronic pip. Since we don't have (I assume?) mechanical relays anymore, the memory required for a couple of sounds, and the programming required to put an option in the menu is absolutely trivial in overall cost and I don't know why it is not done more.
