2016 Jazz vs 2011/2012

Cheers everyone,

I'm new here and looking to get a new (to me) jazz as my daily driver. I've been looking at both Mk3's and Mk2's and I'm wondering if you experts might weigh in on which they'd rather have? Primarily looking for something that'll last me a long time. Would mostly be used for road trips and driving around town, I don't drive to commute.
