Trying to get car on ramps with CVT

Help
Just tried to put the car on a ramp to change the CVT fluid.
When the car got half way up the engine revs went up but the vehicle would not move.
I tried it in "S" mode same thing happened.
Yesterday I got it up ok but the car was cold.
Today I got the engine and gearbox hot but could not get it up on the ramps.
Is this a Starter clutch problem?
