Rustproofing MK3 Jazz
« on: Today at 06:31:00 AM »
Has anyone else DIY rustproofed their jazz?

I’ve got some bilt hamber dynax uc which is stated as good to use for wheel arches and chassis and then some dynax s50 for inside doors and inside sill cavities.

The cars in good shape as it looks like it has been garaged most of its life, bought it as it was the cleanest of any I looked at for rust. As well as full dealer service history and 35k on the clock.

Is this an easy job? And does anyone know exactly which sill/door plugs are best to remove to spray inside? Any advice greatly appreciated

I just sprayed underseal on mine and it's lasted well over the 4yr since I did it.

I never bother with internal rails etc. as you can cause more trouble than it's worth if you seal any rust in there.

Lanoguard is good for internal areas.
