Hello. I need help. My much adored 1st gen 2007 Honda jazz keeps getting hot and the red temperature light flashes. The cabin temperature is not reliably heating even with this crazy hot weather. I’ve changed the thermostat, the temp sensor next to the thermostat, the water pump and done some flushing. The pipes to cabin get warm but cabin heating is erratic to none sometimes. Car drives a few miles before red temp light flashes, sometimes stops for a bit, sometimes stays on, then goes off, or stays on ages. It did fully over heat and cut out once after a pin hole leak which I managed to find and patch. I camera’ed pipe work as much as I could but no obvious blockages. I had thought air lock but I can’t think it is now after messing with it so much. I’m out of ideas. I don’t think head gasket has gone and no mixing of fluids obvious. Anyone had this before? Anyone know a solid way to clear airlocks?
