Replacing 12v battery on 2023 Jazz

I need to change the 12v battery on my 2023 Jazz hybrid. Can I just swap out the old battery for the new or do I need to go through an ECU/ICE etc. recalibrating  procedure after the swap? If so, should I get a car memory saver and connect that up before disconnecting the old battery? Any advice on steps and products would be really helpful.

Thanks. I had seen this but have also read things elsewhere about recalibrating the windows, stop/start system, etc. If the advice in the Jazz handbook is all I need to I'd be happy. But... Anyone with experience of changing the 12v battery on a Mk4 hybrid?

Just out of interest, why are you changing the battery on a 3 year old car?

I bought the car s/h from a Honda dealer at 2.5 years old. The battery seems to be the original. The battery has never failed, but if I didn't drive it for a week or so in the winter the voltage (measured at the battery terminals) would drop as low as 11.8v. If I drive it now, and it is parked for an hour, the voltage is around 12.2v. I'd rather change the battery now than have it fail in the winter.

11.8 is hardly a major discharge!

I could understand your concern if it was around the 7 or even 8 mark, but 11.8 is nothing.
My 72 plate is on the original battery, and it hovers around the 11 mark. I won't be buying another till it drops to around the 7/8 mark.

That's reassuring. I was going by the charts showing battery charge state v resting voltage.
12.2v equates to 60% charge and 11.8v equates to 30%. I don't think 60% charge would be a problem in the summer, but it might be different in the winter. The battery is obviously not at full capacity (12.7v) and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The 12v battery is small and maybe a good 'CTEK' would work wonders
