Apple map for satnav use

A strange one ,this.

I recall when I bought my Jazz at the end of 2024 that on the infotainment system I could see/use Apple Maps.

I actually use Google maps for satnav purposes but I realised today that I can no longer see Apple Maps as a choice,if needed,on the screen.
I am bemused by this. I am certain that I am not making this up! 

I use Google Maps via the Apple Car Play system as my iPhone connects with that. (I do have Apple Maps on my iPhone but very rarely,if ever,use it.)

Apple maps must have been showing using Apple CarPlay. It is not within the cars software, it will not work on android.
So you must have activated it using your iPhone somehow.

If you have more than 8 apps on the Carplay main menu, only 8 can fit on the first page of the menu, while the rest of them, including Apple Maps, may be hiding on the second page of the menu.

Thanks all for insight.

I have now located Apple Maps. For my info and anyone else,it was on Apple Car Play which I noticed on the infotainment display (I don’t recall seeing it before…maybe I wasn’t looking).

I may not have seen it because under the screen is a ‘button’ called Apple Car Play which I always use for the satnav . This button does not come with any options but the one on the screen has different choices…

Still learning! It’s an age thing
