It doesn't work, and I wouldn't even waste your time trying the hardware is that old it struggles to run android 4.
Just save up and replace the entire unit to a joying unit. You will have full android auto, and its fast too.
All the steering wheel buttons work etc, I currently love chatting with Gemini whilst driving about and it's great being able to turn lights on at home or set heating etc straight from your car
