Vacuum hose part numbers?
« on: May 19, 2026, 03:39:31 PM »
My 2012 Jazz hybrid gp1 has about 120,000 km on it I have cleaned the MAP sensor and MAF sensor however it's been about 4 years since I cleaned the PCV valve and I plan to do that next.

I understand that this is a good opportunity to change the vacuum hose going from the PCV to the intake manifold (it apparently is rather vulnerable to drying out and cracking by this mileage) however online data seems to be conflicting as to whether that is 3 mm interior diameter, 4 mm. or something else. Does anyone know of the correct part number? Or, of a good aftermarket replacement? I understand I should not use silicone hose for that because of the fact that oil and gasses pass through it. Thank you!
Jeff

How complex is this hose? When I last went in a motor parts factors (admittedly several years ago)  you could buy  vacuum hose etc, in a variety of inner diameters   by the metre off a reel, quite cheaply.

If you establish first  what sizes they have available   you could even change the hose on their car park, using the old one as a pattern to buy the correct size and length of replacement.   Or if its cheap enough just buy a length of each size and do it at home.
