Interesting. Personally I found the Jazz subjective drive smoother and quieter than the 3 pot CVT around town without putting your foot to the floor, or perhaps even with putting your foot to the floor. But talking particularly about the Yaris here, the larger Toyotas might have more sound proofing/bigger wheels etc.
