I recently changed my phone and it no longer has 3.5mm input. Will a USB-C to 3.5mm cable work for playing music via aux?

I mean I recently started using an AUX chord in my 09 Jazz with a newer iPhone so I’d imagine it works?

Yes, I used an adapter for my I phone and it works well.
