Washer jets problems
« on: April 08, 2026, 01:58:32 PM »
Hi
I'm having a problem with the washer jets on my Jazz EX.
They were working fine, and then a couple of months ago we had some really hard frosts for a few nights and since that they don't actually go right up the windscreen anymore, and I don't know whether they're blocked or the pump is knackered.
They still work but only shoot water about 3 to 4 inches but that's it.
It's weird they just stopped working overnight i would have thought if the pump was shot it just wouldn't work at all.
Plus just to make it fun, they're the one's built into the scuttle panel.

Any advice would be appreciated please

You could try removing th epipe and see if the water comes out strong . That way it could tell you if its the pump or the washer jets themselves.  That's what I would do.
