Are Honda still to stay selling in the UK with thoses figures

Lack of advertising may be a factor to declining sales

I must admit, when I sold mine, the main factor was very low useage but the other 2 main factors were Honda UK future and the thought that the seat sides would eventually split and not repaired under warranty
Let's be careful out there !

My dealership candidly told me that the  Jazz (which I assume includes the Crosstar ) is the mainstay of their business.   I think he said they sell about 100 Jazz a month , greatly enhanced by   Motability scheme sales.    This figure might only have been for the two peak months when registration numbers change. He said that all other Honda models combined only add a few sales  per year. These alone would not sustain their Honda franchise.

So if Honda  stopped selling the Jazz in the UK  (or only a full EV version)  , or the recent Government proposals  to reduce Motability eligibility  becomes even  more restrictive,  Honda may exit the UK market completely.  (Like Mitsubishi did, although I read a rumours they are thinking of returning.) Honda might have abandoned UK/Ireland  sales before this if Japan were not also Right Hand Drive.

I had initially planned to keep my 2021 Jazz for 5 years  ,but was putting quite a few miles on it.  I decided to replace it  in 2024 , partly in the hope that it will then be suitable for  further 3 -5 years  by which time  I will be in a better position to decide on the continued future of Honda in the UK, and  whether any new M5 Jazz, or similar that may have emerged   still appeals to my changing needs and budget.
My IQ test came back negative

My dealer sells more HRV’s than anything else, just ordered 26 plate HRV Advance in Crystal black pearl as it looks good in black with the polished alloys. ;D 8)

Honda haven't given up on the UK yet as they are adding to their range https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=17689.0. A bigger range helps to get people through the showroom door. I hope the pricing is realistic.

While the gov't keeps changing course I think it will still be possible to sell full hybrids up to 2035 https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/phasing-out-sales-of-new-petrol-and-diesel-cars-from-2030-and-supporting-the-zev-transition/outcome/phasing-out-sales-of-new-petrol-and-diesel-cars-from-2030-and-supporting-the-zev-transition-summary-of-responses-and-joint-government-response.

Got to admit, I see very few Honda cars on the road or in car parks these days.
I can't understand due to their reliability why they aren't more popular. I've  never seen one broken down on a motorway.
Since 1995, I've had new, a Civic Lsi, two CRVs and I bought a  23reg Jazz Crosstar, a year ago. None ever needed much more than regular servicing.
