Rubber mats

Yesterday’s torrential rain reminded me to look for some rubber mats for the front of my 2025 Sport. It appears that the Honda ones are generally out of stock. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternative suppliers?

They seem good especially for the modest price. I can't speak for the rubber ones but if I did  want some I'd give them a go.

My car only has fixings fitted on the driver's side and the mats came with fixing holes on the passenger side too but no big deal; it doesn't move about.

I spread the mat over the back of the rear seats when I fold them down. This means I can get my electric trolley and tour golf bag in side by side and the upholstery doesn't get marked. There's also room now for my spare wheel in its bag between the trolley and the back of the driver's seat.







When not in use, I roll the mat up tightly and put it the boot up against the back of the rear seats. The spare wheel sits nicely in the middle of the boot, "as if the car was built to have one there." There's still plenty of room in the boot for cases or shopping.

I have for years gone to carpet shops and brought ex carpet samples in
different sizes for 50p, if you call at different carpet shops you can get a
matching set of four, I don't bother with that as I sling and replace once
a year, always looks good with new carpets once a year for £2 mostly
Hession backed or fleece , if they move I use a bit of double sided carpet
tape, mostly don't have to bother with that though.

I got 4 clips from eBay they did the job just fine (cheaper than genuine Honda ones)  and mats from Carmats.co.uk

Thanks to all for advice. Just received some rubber mats that I bought from Carsio on Amazon. Look good quality and were a keen price. However the newness smell is really strong. Anyone got any idea on how to treat them so they are not overpowering?

You could try hanging them up with airflow to both sides, to help evaporate any solvents used in the rubber compound.   Possibly for 24 hours, or longer if possible.  If there is any sunshine ( ) turn them after a while so both sides get some exposure.

Glad you got OK with Carsio on Amazon.  I bought Carsio from a third party supplier on Amazon Marketplace.  They were the right size and obviously made to fit but the fixings were completely wrong!  What can have happened I just don't know but I eventually returned all four for a refund even though I really only needed the driver's mat.  Anyway good to know that Carsio can do it right after all.

Thanks LV, I will give that a go and hope for some ☀️. Although I could stick them outside now and hope that they don’t get blown or washed away in current weather.

Sorry to hear NM that you did not have good experience with Carsio. The fixings for my mats were 2 part type which clicked into place in the holes of the mats and were  compatible with the fixing posts in the car.
