2014 Honda Jazz AC Clutch Relay

Good afternoon, apologies if I've posted this to the wrong group. I have my first Car it's a Honda Jazz year 2014 parents persuaded me to get it and it's done me well, I've had it 3 years and it's not given any bother. Well with the British summer and recent "heat waves" and a few long drives I thought time to make most of the Aircon and well one day it would be nice and cold and another day it would blow out hot air.  Not being a car enthusiast I thought Its probably the Gas and got a refill, £65 later Everythings working great ,nice chilled air filling the car  4 days later  after it's red hot , and few days later after that nice and cold.  I thought it might have been the hot weather and not feeling the difference because it was so warm.  Anyway a cold day comes and it blowing hot again.  A few YouTube videos later it could be the AC Clutch  i look down and see everything turning ( turns out I'm looking at the wrong thing) who comes driving past but the local car fixer. Stick his torch in the engine , your AC Clutch isn't spinning , so we then sit in the car turning everything on and off and pushing all the fuses in on the main box. Back in the engine bay I find the relay box and give it a flick and the clutch engages .  Managed to take the top off the relay to see what's in ,not after dropping it in the bowls of the engine bay first . So I can see three relays I believe the purple markerd one is the AC Clutch relay , I haven't taken them out just encase I drop it in the engine bay and it's gone forever.  Could someone confirm please if this is the one and also are they all the same voltage and ampage. I want to replace it but don't want to buy the the wrong thing seen some "cheap" not Honda alternatives for around £8.00 on Amazon ,Really appreciate this !  Thankyou.

Someone posted something similar about changing the relay a few days ago. I would give you a link to that but  don't know how to do that. Try a search on "A/C Relay" or similar which shows which one it is.

Try searching for "aircon compressor clutch" which should be the thread I was suggesting.

Would attach a link if I knew how (not new to computers but when I learnt about them they were the size of a four drawer cabinet and located in the basement of our offices!!!

Back in the old days, when electronics were so much simpler  ,without computers, canbus and stuff,  I sometimes checked if a relay was faulty by swapping  identical ones over to see if the fault 'migrated' with the relay.  For instance those two Omron' relays are identical  , but I dont know if the Vietnamese one is the same specification.     But the risk is you end up with two things not working ,possibly making the car undriveable.  or worse. 

But bear in mind that  A/C clutches sometimes dont activate because the a sensor detects the gas pressure is too low.  I know you have had it regassed   but its possible the system has a leak  and its  leaked away again.   They are supposed to check for leaks  but  dont always do this  very well.    As the pressure drops it can reach a marginal stage  where sometimes the compressor will activate and sometimes it doesnt 

If changing the relay doesnt solve the problem  I'd take it back to where  you got it regassed for them to check the pressure again.  If it proves they missed a significant leak  you may be able to put some 'pressure' on them ( )  to reduce the cost of any  checks /repairs/regassing.

I had the same problem on a 2007 Jazz (previous shape to yours). According to the manual, the relay on my Jazz was of the same type as the horn; I swapped them round and guess what...working A/C, no horn. I ordered a geniune Honda one from a specialist on ebay for £20.

As I don't own a Jazz like yours I can't confirm if there are any identical relays that can be swapped so please check the manual beforehand.

I have a 2011 GG and see no small black box under the filler neck for washer fluid, but: I see a small black box under and to the right (standing in front of the car) of the starter battery. Is that the one? Remember my one is a LHD.
