Has the 'Date of last V5C (logbook) issued' changed when the reg is entered into the DVLA vehicle check?

Date of last V5C (logbook) issued: 15 February 2024

Did you move house around that time?

The date of last V5C issued for my Corolla is the 3rd August 2024, the date I collected the car from the dealer. The dealer completed the logbook change and taxed the car on his computer in front of me. So it looks like your old Jazz hasn't been sold yet, or at least the new owner is yet to take delivery.

The disappearance from the forecourt could be explained by it being out on a test drive or parked somewhere else on the forecourt or even transferred to another branch.

Yes, I moved from London to Reading Feb 24

It was on the dealers used car list and Autotrader from mid July, when they bought it, and then disappeared after about 3 weeks and was showing as no tax or MOT which I found odd if they had sold it

Anyway, now taxed and MOT so back on the road

Let's be careful out there !
