Fears that we might inadvertently clock up major data costs in the eu and especially when passing through Serbia means we have tended to rely mostly on wifi in Hotels etc.
Its not just cars that are getting more complex
.Maybe its time I fully entered the 21st Century.
. I must swot up on how to confidently restrict data use , ponder the advantages of having better connectivity. (Video calls, Traffic updates, on site info about historical sites, nearby restaurants etc) . Weight up which would suit me best - occasional heavy use of an expensive plan, a monthly allowance I often wont use up , or maybe buy short duration data only e sims while travelling.
I might try an e sim. I suspect it may be something you dont realise you need until you try it. Like a multimeter.
