Front passenger window
« on: January 19, 2011, 01:44:01 PM »
I have a problem with the front passenger window.

I have all electric windows back and front.  Tried to open the front passenger window this morning from the driver's side, but nothing happened.  Then tried to open it from the passenger side, again nothing. Have just now been out to the car and this time the window opened perfectly then closed about two thirds of the way before the window started juddering and moving very slowly before it fully closed.

Do you think a good squirt of WD40 or something similar might remedy this?

Thank you.

Worth a try with a silicone type spray.

Open the window and spray down the channels either side of the window frame. Then open/close the window several times.

I do this every 6 months and have had no problem.

If that doesn't do the trick then it could be a loose connection or worse a faulty electric motor.

Thanks for your reply JazzyB.  Hopefully the spray will do the trick.
