Leaky Honda Jazz! Again!!!

The wheel well was full of water once more - boo!.

I've tried a belt and braces solution this time on the black 56 plate Jazz.
The first Jazz on the 02 plate was cured of water ingress first time around!

Here's what I did:

Great video, we found the seam a source of leAks on early models, so far all weather patch tape from Gorilla has worked.

Hope you have fixed it. I've read the various threads on the leak issue on the early Jazz.
Just in case it's of any value,  Aygos (and variants) had a bit of a habit of getting water in the boot like yours. I've found they are often due to where the rear light cluster connector access hole goes through the body panel. There is a sponge seal between the cluster and body but this is often distorted/flattened and the water runs down from the tailgate gutter, behind the plastic trim panel, and then drops straight through the hole for the light connection. I've fixed them with good quality silicone (Dow Corning is my preference) on the foam seal against the body panel.
Just a thought,  if the Jazz is similar.

Our first Jazz (02 plate) was an easy fix and never had the problem again, this one, the 56 plate has been more difficult.

It's meant to rain heavily tomorrow so it should get a good test....

If this latest repair doesn't work after the forecast of heavy rain tomorrow, I'll certainly look into that.

simple remedy for the winter . clean roof moulding area's and top inner tailgate area. just get some vasaline and smear it over the body joins and across the edges of the roof trims. wipe in to the grooves.. its cured mine even with all this heavy rain and dont look unsightly.
