Hi
I have a 2012 Honda Jazz with CVT gearbox been told by Honda there is a whining noise from the gearbox and could be a bearing that needs replacing. I agreed for them to repair for £1500 they have now come back to me and say they cannot do the repair. I am now at the mercy of the automatic transmission specialists. I have been to a couple nearby (Manchester) and they have advised me that there could be a multitude of problems and best to replace with a second hand gear box. I am now in a pickle do I take the risk of getting a second hand gear box and have it changed, do I carry on driving the car until it dies or do I bite the bullet and beg borrow and get the money together for another automatic as wife can only drive automatics. Any advice will be greatly received. Thanks in advice. Mr C
