Garmin Map Update Procedure

Is the procedure for updating the full map version different on a "Here" satnav, if so how is it done ? I did some regional map updates using Wi-Fi which were straightforward but full update with USB has me stumped, I installed Garmin Express on my PC but can't get past "Add a Device" how do I add my satnav?

Here is not Garmin so I'd be surprised if Garmin Express is needed ?

For information I put the 25 update in the Jazz and the E and postcode inputs works fine, so don't think there is a bug this time. Still use Google though

Thanks to the advice given I have updated my satnav from 2023-06-28 to 2024-09-25, due to my slow internet the process it was quite long, 10 hrs to download to a 32gb usb and 45mins to upload to car nav but all went well, thanks again
