For those old model Jazz owners who still have their car under warranty, it may be worth checking the handbrake leaver where it enters the centre console. On the two models I owned the plastic shroud developed a small split where it flexes. Even though it was a minor issue I had the cover replaced under warranty on both cars. These were the only occasions I had warranty work undertaken (apart from the window switch recall) in 7 years of driving the old model Jazz.
