Navigator display protection

Hello,
does anyone know if there are films to protect the navigator display?
Hoping that then the touch screen of the display will work !?
I always find the screen full of fingerprints and that bothers me.

You could try cutting one for a 10 inch tablet to fit   (missing out the switches)   Film only. You cannot  cut glass ones.

 If its rubbish they are easy to remove and wont leave glue residue.      You can buy 2 for under £2 including post on uk  ebay and probably also  in Italy.

A custom cut one from China may not be much better .

Scratched my infotainment screen badly with microfiber towels (dust loses this screen)
When cleaning first is get dust out with air blower.

I found and ordered one on Amazon Japan, protector for new Vezel, they not fitted on domestic Fit e:HEV Honda Connect infotainment.
This protector slightly bigger then screen on Jazz and need to by cutter slightly (lower corners), compatible only with RHD cars.
Need search Honda Connect 9” screen protector or infotainment screen protector for new Vezel.

I've never had any issues with screen scratching. Maybe not all cloths are equal.

This is a good warning to be careful what you use though.

My main problem is greasy finger marks.  I must cut down on greasy snacks 

Some cleaning cloths do scratch. Especially if you dont use  a cleaning fluid.

I use this thing, which has a foam rubber centre and a very fine cloth, almost like silk. It spreads the pressure over a wide area.   It also has a little soft brush for dust.       I've had it years but you may still be able to buy something  similar.  A bit too big to carry in the car.  I have a pack of  computer screen 'wet wipes' in the car but havnt used them yet. And they may dry out in a hot car.

I think if you have 'gritty' dust on your screen then wiping with a cloth is not a good idea. I use one of those microfibre gloves with the tendril type things on it and just lightly touch the screen to let the static collect the dust, and that's it. If there is grease on my screen, it doesn't really show but would only wipe it once I have removed the 'dust'.

Only if you clear the dust away gently beforehand. Best bet is remove dust, spray with a mix of highly diluted white wine vinegar and water, then wipe with a microfibre cloth.

P.S. This is on my Toyota screen but the Honda's I've had before have all had the same treatment.

What's on the back of your screen: Water Resistant 3 atm, 5 atm, 10 atm or 20 atm, like on a watch?

I'd really think twice before I would spray a liquid on this screen, with the on/off volume button and all the other little buttons aside and at the bottom, where the liquid goes... and then leaks into?
Maybe a damp cloth is a better idea when the screen is really greasy?

Well maybe not a pressure washer perhaps, but a little spray isn't going to do any harm. Although having seen that screen design, maybe on to the cloth and then apply might be a better idea. On my car, and my previous CR-Vs and other cars with screens, they are in a little recess with no flush buttons like that.

My main point is that it is really to overthink these jobs and buy expensive products and whatnot. We clean our house windows with white wine vinegar and newspaper. Better than anything we have bought, ever.
