Initial Warning Message on Infotainment Screen
« on: May 22, 2021, 05:55:07 PM »
Hi,

New member here - recently taken delivery of my first Honda - a 2018 Mk 3 Ex from Cazoo - which was delivered in excellent condition and just 9000 miles on the clock.

Is there a way to turn off the initial warning message on the infotainment screen that comes on every time I start the car?  It takes me a number of taps on the <OK> button to turn it off and go to the next 'H' Honda symbol screen - I am finding it rather annoying.  I also at times get a large message 'Audio Power Off'.

I miss a clear <Mute> button but I did see a helpful post saying there is one to be found at the bottom of the slider volume control.

In general I find the Infotainment screen not very responsive to my touch commands.  Any ideas / help please?

Many thanks,

Andrew

I agree about the warning message. Insanely annoying to the point that I just let it default to the dark screen a lot of the time. I am pretty sure it's not possible to turn it off. I certainly would have done if I could. I also think I'm right in thinking that it has been modified if not actually binned on the Mk4.
