UNKNOWN PICTOGRAM ON SCREEN
« on: March 05, 2021, 03:08:23 PM »
Grey pictogram of a wheel and tyre with code 08 has appeared twice momentarily on the central screen. the pictogram is not in the Jazz SR driver's manual.

Honda main dealer has checked the car and says it is ok; no error codes recorded on the car's computer either.

What is happening, please?

Cheers,

Shiraz Kid.

Welcome to the forum Shiraz Kid.  ;)

Not something I've heard of before. Perhaps you could photo it for the dealer so they can get in touch with Honda technical support.

It could be a countdown.
If tomorrow you will see the same pictogram and 07, the car will melt in 7 days.

I had a browse through the manual and the only thing that comes close is the display you get when pressing the Res or Set steering wheel button with the parking brake applied.

That's a circle with a P in it.

And wouldn't trigger/save any codes.
Let's be careful out there !

Maybe its the tyre pressure sensor?
One of the tyre pressures may be a bit low.

That is the cross-section of a tyre with an exclamation mark.

Have a closer look. It looks like a car tyre with a number. It’s actually a speaker and the number is what you have turned the volume to from the steering wheel

Good call, I think you are probably right, volume setting.

You just need to turn your stereo up a bit. In my MK2, when I'm driving on my own, I find Vol 22 just about right!  8)

12 to 14 here but if the daughter is in it goes down to 8, she hates it too loud.

Maybe just pop in at Specsavers...  ;)
It looks very clear to me: loudspeaker with volume number...
