Auto locking doors
« on: February 27, 2021, 09:59:35 AM »
Will the Jazz Mk4 automatically lock the doors when setting off?

Is it a setting that can be enabled by the owner or the dealer?

I liked this feature on my old Corsa.

Honda stopped this feature in the UK about 2007 after a request from the emergency services.
Let's be careful out there !

Why? Many other reputable manufacturers include auto locking. In an accident the doors are unlocked automatically but in general use auto locking doors are safe in reducing risk of car jacking and theft of items in car by quick grab thieves.

I know, I used to like it., safety.

The 2006 Honda Civic had a secret way of enabling it but they put that to bed with the Civic MY07

Let's be careful out there !
