Broken Wheel Lock Nut

Hi

I recently broke my alloy wheel locking nut while trying to open it with the lock key. My car is a Honda Jazz SE Sport, 1.4, 2005 and has original standard fit alloys. I would like to buy a new locking nut and key and was wondering how I can go about purchasing this item? My existing lock key states McGard only and has no part number. Does anyone know if Honda use the McGard locks as standard on their cars?

I have seen the McGard range in Halfords and was advised by the assistant that I needed the McGard part 24157SU after giving him my reg number. However, when I looked on wheellockkeys.com, there is a McGard link on there and when entering the relevant car details, it states that I need McGard part 25000! Just wondering who is right, Halfords or McGard?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Firstly I would try Honda and then email/phone McGard as to regards which locks are the correct ones.

I would now suggest if you get the lock sorted to think about leaving the locking nuts well alone........in the Jag Daimler forum i cood the members going into Germany with locking wheel nuts have found if the coded socket breaks there are none in Germany its no longer reguarded as a nessesary item......as alloy wheels are now a cheap item.
We do reccomend going to the tyre depots that you ask them not to use windy guns on the sockets....to undo the nuts by  hand.......its an expensive item if you cant get the coded socket.........
