Central locking / boot lock fault
« on: August 18, 2020, 02:57:45 AM »
Jazz 2013 - Shows boot unlocked when it’s locked. Cannot lock car with key Button. Have to manually lock from driver side door with key. Can unlock with key button. Might be a fuse but not sure. Anybody come across this problem before?

Check boot lock handle is fully forward (push towards the front of the car). The handle is notorious for sticking,

This has been covered in detail many times on this forum.

Here is just one thread of quite a few.

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Yes the handle is working properly. The car had some rear end impact before I bought. Not sure if this has something to do with it.
