2007 double din panel
« on: February 06, 2020, 08:43:24 PM »
Just bought a 2007 Honda jazz sport and I'd like to fit an android double din head unit.does anyone know where I can get a fascia for double din, my car has digital climate control and steering wheel controls for the audio system.
Lastly can anyone recommend a good android head unit?
Thanks in advance Tom Fannon

Did you end up finding a fascia for your Jazz?

By coincidence I have been searching this today (already have a suitable aftermarket head unit) and there is this on eBay: 350502034440

Includes mounting brackets, steering wheel control wiring etc.

I didn't realise this post was made under Mk2 for a 2007 Jazz. I was looking for a Mk1 2007 sport fascia. It looks more like this eBay listing: 173980487085

But I believe the sport model has a different fit fascia and I can't find one anywhere. I'm halfway through 3D printing an insert to modify an OEM fascia as I've given up hope finding one

Plenty available to fit the 07 Sport. As an example eBay item 404241791038 is one.

How sure are you this particular one will fit? As I have purchased one already for a 9" universal display and this is how it fits with gaps and a different curve.

If you have done this before on an 07 Jazz SE Sport GE3 I'll make the purchase, but as it says 01-08 I imagine it will fit just like the one I have already bought.

I made a similar mistake with a different year of jazz, but this looks like it might be the same issue - curves inwards too far on one side, curves out too far on the other, but otherwise looks correct - did you get one for a LHD model instead of RHD model? That'd explain why it's very close, but the curves on the two sides seem slightly off, since it's not actually symmetrical

I agree, only purchase if it specifically states RHD

No this is not the case, I wish it was. The LHD fascia has the spacing for the climate control buttons mirrored. My climate control buttons fit it. Also it's not far out enough to be the LHD fascia.
