Fit parking sensors

I have been asked to fit some parking sensors to her '03 Jazz. I have fitted them to my Vectra a few years ago.

How do you remove the rear bumper? Are there any cross marks on the inside of the bumper for positioning?

I've fitted the 'stick on' types (2 sensors) to both my GD and GE Jazzes. Takes about 10 mins. 
Maybe not as nice looking as the inset ones, but jsut as effective.

Well I fitted them on Saturday and all was OK. There were no cross marks on the back of the bumper. I put them 15cm up from the line of the bumper and 42cm spacing.

The reverse wire is the green/black one of the 2 pin connector.

Any probs feeding the wire into the boot area?

There is a grommit on the right hand side.

I have a four-in-the-bumper set bought in error for a previous car. If i can wind meself up I'll fit them sometime this year in place of the stick-ons!

Well if you need any advice just post a message. It took me 3 hours and during that time I put up a washing line, helped the Father in law on the PC and had a coffee.

The hardest part is measuring, I just put some masking tape and after I am happy I make a mark with a pilot bit. Then remove the tape and re-measure yet again. I then go through with the supplied bit, watch out as it clogs up easily.
