Just a thought. I would be concerned, buying from an eBay seller, that although new and unopened you have no idea as to how close (or past) its use by date it is. Maybe worth an email to seller before ordering.
Actually this might be a better bet:

Personally I would get a spare tyre instead!

I think that was what they meant.

Haha, yes, spare tyre with the steel wheel. eBay may be a good place to buy.

Just after I bought my Jazz,I threw out the bottle of gunk and bought a spacesaver wheel and tyre.
My local tyre depot told me that in 90% of cases, they are unable to repair punctures that have been "repaired" with "Gunk"

I don't want to carry an extra wheel in my boot, the suspension is harsh enough ;D. The AA have one that fits, and I don't have to get my hands dirty.

My suspension is hardly what I would call "harsh". If the added weight of a spare wheel makes that much of a difference to your suspension then I think you may have a problem. The car is designed to carry 5 adults!

..........................................5 adults and a spare wheel!

My car rides much better with a full size spare in the boot.

That's slightly better than my score getting any puncture repaired!

Just reviving older thread rather than starting a new one, I carry one of these on my motorbike, and if I am going on holiday in the car I move it from under the motorbike seat and into car glove box.  It uses a mushroom  shaped plug that is applied from outside the tyre, only thing you need is a pair of pliers to remove the nail or screw.  You can get the kit with or without the CO2 cylinders, ( may not need them for a car if you have a pump) but for as motorbike with no pump they are required.
