Hi All
« on: October 20, 2015, 01:32:29 PM »
Hi Everyone.

Just thought I'd introduce myself.  My names Jason and I'm collecting a Jazz 1.4Dsi Sport ( Late 54 plate )  this Sunday.

I'm not new to Honda's as my other car is a EP3 Civic Type-R ( 2005 ) which I've had from new and use for trackdays.
My Honda fascination started in 2002 with my first EP3 CTR.
I've also Owned a CL9 2.4 Accord Type-S ( back in 2003-2005).
I've recently moved house further away from my job hence the need for something a little more refined and economical so a Jazz it was !

All good thanks Jason!

I'm not fortunate enough to have a dedicated track car as well as a daily so my Jazz is both  :D

Hoping to do at least my annual track day with HOT at Croft but would love to venture out and try some of the other circuits

You keeping the GD standard? ;)

Will be keeping the GD standard yes, it's not a racecar you know . hehe.

Just want something complient to drive to and from work as the CTR is a bit of a bugger with uprated engine mounts, suspension and other mods i've done to it, also 18-21mpg is not great with it either , good old rush hour.
Parrot Bluetooth kit fitted and it supports audio so no need to hack the dash to bits thank God.

Might try a K&N panel filter in it though as I've still got the one from the Accord so just need to cut that to size as that's a panel type as well. That's the only mod i've got for it.  And get the gearbox done soonish as we have the dreaded geaarbox bearing issue but car was cheap so even with the repair it's still a cheap car.
Also got a spare nitrous kit laying around the house so you never know.. call it a little boost button for overtaking  .. rofl .

Also , got to remember there is no 6th gear !

Thanks RichardA.

Car got delivered yesterday. Took it out for a bit of mixed driving which consisted of town and a couple of A-Roads and managed 48mpg so VERY happy with that.

Just read the instuction book and i've been changing gear to early it turns out, so I'm going to give it a go with the recommeded gear change speeds and see if it makes any diffrernce.

Brillient little car, makes me happy . Willing little thing. Loving it so far !
